Quilling with Tracey Balkin
Materials needed:
- Quilling tool
- Paper strips (I used three colours, 5mm width)
- White cardboard
- Tweezers
- Wood glue (that dries clear)
- Stencil of the desired image
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Black fineliner
- Diamanté sticker
Step 1:
Trace stencil pattern in pencil.
Step 2:
Rolls paper strips into coils, glue and wait for it to dry. Press into marquise/eye shape.
Step 3:
Using tweezers, glue each piece onto the skirt area, holding for a few seconds to keep it in place.
Step 4:
Outline the remaining picture in black fineliner. When it’s dry, erase the pencil marks.
For the final touch, finish it off with a shiny diamanté sticker.
